As part of a project for Warfield Consulting, Celtic Wolf participated in a team that performed maintenance on a paperless Electronic Billing Presentment and Payment (EBPP) solution. This is a web application that allows customers to view and pay their bills online. The application can be deployed by companies that need to provide online billpayment services to their customers. It was designed for industries including:
- banks
- utilities
- telecom/cable
- consumer finance
- insurance
- healthcare
- government
- education
- property management
Modifications included adding new options, improving the way information was presented to the user, fixing errors and improving the user-friendliness of the application.
The application was built on ASP.NET 2.0 and IIS, using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 to store the records. The code was written in C# and JavaScript.
