Frugal Rooter is a commercial and residential plumbing company in Northern Virginia. They had a website that they wanted to use to generate business, but it was difficult to update and their previous webmaster was slow in responding to requests. To address this, Frugal Rooter contacted Celtic Wolf to get a site that was SEO-compliant (optimized for search engines), easy to update, and featureful.
We created a new site based on Joomla!, the open source content management system. This allowed us to easily integrate Google Analytics and allowed Big Blue Bear Consulting, our SEO partner, to optimize the pages on the site to improve Frugal Rooter's search ranking and attract more people searching for plumbers in Northern Virginia.
The design of the site (a custom Joomla! template) was created to match the existing branding of Frugal Rooter's phone book ads, trucks and collateral. It incorporates elements requested by the client, such as the Frugal Rooter orange, the American Flag and references to their veteran ownership and contribution to the Fallen Soldiers Fund.
