PostNews is a Win32 console utility for posting messages to Usenet newsgroups. It uses the NNTP protocol (RFC 977) to upload one or more messages to a specified newsserver.
Features:
- Support for wildcards in the file specification.
- News server is specified on the command line, so PostNews can be used with a different server each time it is run.
- Support for "original" authentication (RFC 2980)
- Status messages written to screen. Can be redirected to file.
- Option for displaying entire NNTP session.
- Option to delete messages that are successfully posted
- Option to move messages that are successfully posted
